All Metro- Tuesdays EVE: Fourball MP MAY - AUGUST

Player Requirements

• 2-man teams

• Teams may register 2 alternate players (no additional fee).

• All players MUST maintain an active USGA GHIN handicap.

Courses

• Teams select their own home course within the defined league area of play (All Metro, South, West, etc).

• Teams may select public or private courses

Tee Times

• Tee Times will be scheduled by home team for each week.

• Home team should book round ASAP and communicate to opponent immediately after booking.

• Please book within you leagues designated tee time window

• Early AM  Leagues 7am-9:30am

• Late AM Leagues 9:30am-11:59am

• PM Leagues 12pm-2:59pm

• Eve Leagues 3pm-6pm

Format and Scoring

• Matches are played in a match play format without carry-overs.

• Teams receive 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie.

• Home Team selects tees but handicapping should reflect the difference in rating/slope.

• Use GHIN APP to determine playing handicaps. 

• Handicaps are applied based on Handicapping Rules.

• Teams accumulate league points to qualify for playoffs.

• All USGA rules apply.

Posting Results

• Match Results will be gathered via weekly emails.

• BOTH TEAMS shall respond to emails or be subjected to loss of points.

Scheduling and Make-up Matches

• The home team is responsible for booking the round at their home course at least 3 days in advance.

• If a team is unable to play during the default league time, they forfeit unless the opposing team agrees to an alternative time.

• Make-up matches due to weather must be scheduled within 2 days of the cancellation and completed before the final week of the regular season.

• In the event of a weather-related cancellation during the final week of the regular season, both teams automatically receive 1 point.

• Reasonable rain does not warrant a cancellation.

• If the home course is unavailable, an alternative course shall be selected by home team.

• In the case of mid-match cancellation, the team that is leading wins the match. If all square, a tie is determined.

Playoffs and Prizes

• Top 8 teams make playoffs and compete in 3-week tournament.

• Tiebreaker rules apply and will be determined by league administrators.

• Higher seeded team gets home course advantage.

• Prizes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, with the specifics based on league numbers.
